Deuteronomy 33:26

“There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to help you, and in His excellency on the clouds.” - Deuteronomy 33:26

I'm thankful that God can't help but come to our aid. It's in His nature to look out for us. It's not always in ways we want or how we think it should happen, but He is faithful to come to us. Whether we're under severe distress emotionally or need something practical, He will come to our rescue.

I love the imagery in this verse. God rides across the Heavens to come to our aid like a hero. We know that in the end times, He will come triumphantly on the white horse. They call Him "Faithful" and "True" and He will come to make things right. Righteousness is what He rides for, and we need to seek that. It's not just for things we screwed up, but to correct all the wrongs. All the wrongs that have ever happened, He's coming to make it right.

We don't have to wait until then. Jesus is waiting to ride across the heavens right now to scoop us up. We need to cry out to Him. We need to ask for His presence. I'm thankful that He is faithful, are you?
