Welcome!
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-wracking. We want to help make your first experience at Great Rock Church a great one!
What to Expect
The Service Itself: Services at Great Rock are approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. This includes time for singing worship songs, giving announcements, and preaching a message. The lyrics to the worship songs are projected on the screen so everyone has the opportunity to join in. At Great Rock Church we preach through the Bible line by line, so you can expect solid, biblical teaching. If you'd like to get a glimpse as to what services are like, click below to watch or listen to past sermons.
What should I wear? At GRC you can expect to find people wearing anything from jeans and a sweatshirt to a full suit and tie. So don't feel that you have to dress a certain way in order to attend. Just come as you are!
What about my children? Our Children's Ministry is offered during the 11:00 service on Sunday mornings and at the 7:00 service on Wednesday evenings. Check-in on Sundays begins at 10:45am, and check-in on Wednesday happens at the end of the singing portion of the service. In order to keep the children in our care as safe as possible, we have a secure check-in and check-out system. If it's your first time visiting, you can register your child at our registration desk at the entrance to our children's wing. We also have a family room with a large window looking into the sanctuary if you'd prefer to keep your children with you during your visit. And if you're a nursing mama, we have a room for you also!
