When Jesus was sent word that his friend Lazarus was seriously ill, instead of hurrying to his bedside, He spent a couple more days where He was and then traveled to Bethany. By the time He got there, Lazarus was dead for days. Why did He wait? This family was close to Jesus. Pastor Mat points out that Jesus waited because He wanted them - and all of us - to know that death is not the end.
